Comfortable room with a newly renovated vibe. 🛏️ The bed is super clean, and there's a fancy bathroom. The room also comes with air conditioning.

I appreciated being in this place. By and large, it was decent base for sightseeing in Deggendorf, had much fun. The staff was efficient all the time. I was upgraded to a newly decorated room with double bed. Everything was good as expected, even so the bathroom was old. The team provided a friendly service.

Some people working there were a bit rude.

Location near to nice park and Danube river and city center. Breakfast with many options. Fast check-in, parking in front of the hotel.

The venue is perfectly situated by the river in a lovely area, and there's a great spot nearby, Toms Charivari, to relax and unwind, offering clean and cozy rooms with bathrooms.

This hotel has no air conditioning and at these temperatures it was not always pleasant in the room. Maybe they could have provided a fan for the room if you want one.

The room has a nice view of the park after a recent renovation, and offers amenities such as a mini bar and coffee, with a pleasant location just 1 km from Altes Rathaus.

The main appeal for me was a decent sized room after the tiny, corridor- like single room I endured for one night at Deggendorf's Hoettl Hotel. It had the added attraction of being away from the incessant bells of the nearby town/church clock every quarter hour - oh, and the fact my window was directly above Smokers' Corner in the beer garden. By contrast, The nh Deggendorf Park Hotel provided me with a large double room, an equally generous bathroom - with bath as well as shower (always a bonus for travel-weary limbs!). I also had a top storey room facing the Donau, which meant away from the bells and also well away from any vagrant cigarette smoke. At 60 Euros a night, it was still excellent value compared with Hoettl's 51 Euros for a monastic cell!

The main window leaked and I had to mop up accumulated rainwater on the window-sill. At 15 Euros, the breakfast is perhaps a trifle overpriced. Swisscom's wlan service is also outrageously overpriced at 17.50 Euros for 24 hrs. I was quoted 10.50 at Reception, but that price only applies if you pay the 71 Euros odd for a week. However, the access and speed were good. Oh, and, while the Reception staff were fluent in French and English, the kitchen staff apparently only understand Bavarian: if you speak Hoch Deutsch as I do, you'd be advised to learn how to roll your Rs convincingly if you don't want your softer Drei to be confused with Zwei - as mine was. I was readily understood when I said DRRRRRRRRRRRei! Bayerische is the only way!!
